ShopRiley Kleve (Minneapolis, Minnesota) is a queer, multimedia textile artist and educator who teaches classes at Textile Center. Blending vintage design and technique with contemporary materials and questions, their artwork explores artificial divides between art and craft, labor, value, and repetition. During the pandemic shutdown, they became reacquainted with their love of creating handcrafted artisanal yarn and have since launched a boutique yarn line, Better Days Yarn Co., with the mission of introducing fellow fiber enthusiasts to the joy of working with locally-produced handspun yarn.
