Saturday, November 9, 10 am – 5 pm

Becky Utecht

In this introduction to the raw felted fleece process, create a felted “sheep pelt” chair pad or pillow top using 1 to 2 pounds of raw (unwashed) fleece. Bring fleece from your own sheep, or purchase it from the instructor. We’ll explore the various types of fleece brought to class and discuss their most appropriate uses. Shepherds and fiber lovers will appreciate the efficiency of washing and felting raw fleece all at the same time. Previous felting experience and an understanding of the wet felting process recommended. Materials fee $25 – $50, payable to instructor. **See supply list of items to bring to class**
