Laura Burlis

Polymer clay is brightly colored, oven-baked clay that lends itself to effects that look intricate but are easy to learn. Learn several millefiori techniques to make colorful combinations of clay into tubes, and then slice to reveal the designs inside. Make several different bead shapes – enough for a chunky bracelet or necklace – or make buttons to embellish your textile creations. Participants will receive baking instructions to cure their projects at home. Materials fee $10, payable to instructor.
