Instructor Bio:

Michelle Ooley’s 20-year passion for sewing started Mobile Menders, when a simple zipper repair spurred an entire volunteer organization dedicated to helping mend and repair clothing in the community. Ooley’s efforts support the recycling and upcycling of clothing, saving perfectly good articles of clothing from becoming textile waste. Under the motto, sewing mends the soul, she and her volunteer crews work with community groups all over the metro area to provide free mending services to those in need.
