Intro to Crewel Trellis: Knots, Cross, and Chain • November 2
Adult, Adult Classes, Featured Class
Monday, November 2, 6 – 9 pm
Jacobean crewel embroidery is stitched with wool thread on lined twill. This beginner workshop is perfect for those interested in learning basic and frequently used stitches in crewel. Work in a sampler format to learn various trellis stitches, knots, cross, and chain. These stitches provide a good introduction and foundation for crewel, and can be applied to many other types of embroidery and future crewel design classes.
Pair this class with Intro to Crewel: Burden, Laid, and Battlement on November 9 for a comprehensive beginning to Jacobean crewelwork and design! Register for both classes and get $10 off your purchase! Use coupon code crewel at checkout.
Materials fee of $15, payable to the instructor. If you are taking both classes, only ONE materials fee needs to be paid! **See supply list of items to bring to class**
