Withdrawal Policy for Digital Workshops
There are no refunds for Digital DEMONSTRATION classes.
Join us for something new in this special demo-style introduction to making your own plant-based inks! The instructor will be walking students through a basic ink making process using easily sourced local materials, to familiarize you with the steps involved. The preparation of two different inks will be demonstrated–possibilities include marigold, black walnut, avocados, and onion skins–dependent on natural materials available at the time of class! Whatever it is, these inks are suitable for use with dip pens and brushes on paper. As an added bonus, a pop-can calligraphy pen will also be demonstrated.
Supplies are not required to register for this course. Bring a pen and notepad for taking notes. A handout will be provided to registered students.
