OFFSITE: Handspun Mini Tapestry at Gigi’s Café • February 15

, ,

Wednesday, February 15, 5 – 6:30 pm

with Riley Kleve

Learn the basics of spinning your own yarn using a drop spindle! Then, use your yarn to add texture and personality to a mini, modern woven tapestry. Take home your finished tapestry weaving, plus a portable cardboard tapestry loom to use again and again! All materials for this class are provided.

Textile Center’s Offsite Classes are a great way to bond with friends, and to make NEW friends! We’ll take the time to get to know one another while learning new skills and sipping on cozy beverages. You’ll leave with the finished creation, plus some extra materials to continue your creativity at home.

*This class is located at Gigi’s Café, 824 W 36th St, Minneapolis, MN 55408. There is a minimum required café purchase of $5 when taking this class (we recommend the Pecan Pie latte!)
