Found Textile Collage – Digital Class • February 10 and 18

Wednesday, February 10 and Thursday, February 18, 6 – 8 pm CST
We invite you to this two-part beginner level digital workshop, where you will be invited to utilize everyday textile or sentimental objects from your home or stash and combine them with other stitching techniques to create a finished artwork utilizing collage and assemblage methods. Basic hand stitching knowledge helpful.
Students are responsible for their own materials for this class. The cost for materials IS NOT included in the registration fee. *Supply list below

Laura Wennstrom holds an MFA in New Media from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2015). She received her undergraduate degree in Studio Art from North Park University in Chicago in 2009. Making multi-media and textile based work, she has participated in many solo and group exhibitions across the country.
Laura has been teaching children, college students, and adults for the past 10 years through Bethel University, Parkland College, Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and the East Side Arts Council. Laura lives in Minneapolis with her husband and two young children.
