Take your needle felting and stitching skills to the next level! Learn to create a faux felted pothos plant using various techniques of machine and hand sewing, needle felting, and wire wrapping. This is an intermediate level class open to students (ages 13 yrs and up) who have some previous experience with needle felting and stitching. Youth participants under the age of 16 yrs, must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

$15 material fee payable to the instructor at the time of class (includes wool roving, sheet felt, felting needles, wire, foam, small ceramic pot).

Instructor Bio:

Kaylyn Gerenz (she/her) is an educator and artist in St. Paul, MN, who started needle felting over a decade ago. She uses fiber as a main element in her professional artwork to communicate the urgency to document memories and history, and continues to explore the idea of flesh and fabric as evocative containers. She recently received her MFA in sculpture from the University of Wisconsin- Madison, where she taught a visual culture course for two years. kaylyngerenz.com
