Good design starts with understanding the basics. Learn the key elements to any design, such as point, line, form, shape, positive and negative space, movement, color, pattern, and texture. These elements—the structure of any artwork—can be isolated and defined, and can carry a wide variety of messages and narratives.
Students are responsible for their own materials for this class. The cost for materials IS NOT included in the registration fee.

What do you need to be prepared for class?
Sandra Brick is an experienced trainer, coach, and educator with over 21 years of experience with the Textile Center both as an instructor and former Board member. She has designed and developed 35+ workshops and courses in a diverse range of workshop topics such as fabric dyeing, design theory, beading, creative problem solving, and technology workshops for artists. Withdrawal Policy
Due to the nature of digital access to the classes and distribution of supplies, refunds will not be processed if you cancel your registration less than 10 business days before the start of class.
If your notice of withdrawal or tuition transfer is received at least 10 business days before the start of your workshop, you will receive a refund of your workshop payment, minus a $25 non-refundable processing fee.
