Natalie Novacek

Are you looking for a fun and sustainable way to use your assorted leftover fabric pieces? Put those scraps to good use by learning the basics of crumb quilting and make a crumb quilted tote for yourself or a friend! Crumb quilting refers to a scrap quilting technique that uses up the smallest scraps in your stash. Learn to piece together fabric scraps into a larger quilt block, working freely with color and design to use up your favorite odds and ends. Then, create a basic, lined tote bag using your completed crumb quilt block as the focal point. No quilting experience necessary; open to beginner students who have basic sewing skills, a sewing machine in good working order, and the ability to use their machine independently.

This quilting class is supported by proceeds from the Carolyn Buckingham Estate Fabric Sale. A select number of scholarships are available for students who need assistance in order to participate in this class.
