Looking for the perfect emoji for your next text(ile) message? Join us for a Crafternoon focused on mini cross stitch. Learn the basics of cross stitch and design your own mini pattern to amplify and embellish clothing and fabric accessories. Just in the same way that digital emojis visualize unspoken sentiments and punctuate our written phrases with emotions, a cross-stitched emoji can add texture and nuance to your fiber-based phrases!

This intergenerational class is open to crafters of all ages and ability levels! Youth ages 5 years and up are invited to participate in this class on their own while their adult caregiver is onsite enjoying our Library, Community Room, or Artisan Shop.

Textile Center will provide all supplies necessary for this class, however participants are also welcome to bring fabric items from home to add cross-stitched emojis to.
