What are hues, chroma, value, saturation, tones, tints, and shades–and how do these aspects affect the way we perceive color? Color theory is a body of practical guidance that creates a logical structure for color, including everything from color mixing and the visual effects of specific color combinations to the relationships we have with color. Explore the three basic categories of color theory: the color wheel, color harmony, and the context of how colors are used.
Students are responsible for their own materials for this class. The cost for materials IS NOT included in the registration fee.

What do you need to be prepared for class?
Sandra Brick is a trainer, coach, and educator with over 21 years of experience with the Textile Center as both an instructor and former board member. She has designed and developed 35+ workshops and courses in a diverse range of topics such as fabric dyeing, design theory, beading, creative problem solving, and technology workshops for artists. Withdrawal Policy
Due to the nature of digital access to the classes and distribution of supplies, refunds will not be processed if you cancel your registration less than 10 business days before the start of class.
If your notice of withdrawal or tuition transfer is received at least 10 business days before the start of your workshop, you will receive a refund of your workshop payment, minus a $25 non-refundable processing fee.
