Nancy Eha

Use small glass beads in place of thread to make beautiful hand-stitched Sashiko patterns. Learn the names of several patterns as you bead each with color combinations of small bugle beads. You will leave with a small cloth beaded sample of stitches, knowledge of proper Sashiko techniques, and historical information about this originally utilitarian stitch which is now seeing a resurgence in interest for decorative purposes. No experience necessary. Materials fee $12, payable to instructor.
