Appliqué is a type of ornamental needlework that creates patterns and pictures with small pieces of fabric sewn or stuck onto a larger piece of fabric. In this class, students will apply appliqué techniques to mirrors and reflective materials. Using chain and button hole stitches, embellish your own fabric. Learn about the history of mirror work, and leave with your very own reflective design! Materials fee $17, payable to instructor. **See supply list of items to bring to class**

Sandra Brick is a trainer, coach, and educator with over 21 years of experience with the Textile Center both as an instructor and former Board member. She has designed and developed 35+ workshops and courses in a diverse range of workshop topics such as fabric dyeing, design theory, beading, creative problem solving, and technology workshops for artists.
