This basket is highly functional and something you will be able to use every day! If you have never made a basket before, this is an excellent opportunity to give basket weaving a try. All weaving levels are welcome! You will learn about weaving with reed, how to weave a solid base, plain weaving technique, working with dyed reed, and shaping and lashing a basket rim. You will also choose the length of the handles to best fit you and your needs. Color choices will be provided the day of class. Materials fee $35, payable to the instructor. **See supply list of items you need to bring with you to class**
