2021 INTERLACE FALL CLASSES are HERE!
IN-PERSON CLASSES ARE BACK!! INTERLACE classes are perfect for art lovers and makers, ages 55+, and geared to beginners. No previous fiber art experience required — so join a cohort of other life-long learners to learn a new skill and build new relationships!
Welcome to our creative community, where we invite you to learn a new skill in a supportive environment, taught by experienced Textile Center instructors. Our intensive 8-week in-person sessions are back for the fall, with classes scheduled to meet 3-hours per week at Textile Center.
Generous scholarships are available for our in-person INTERLACE classes. When registering online, check for scholarship options when you add the class to your cart. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
In an effort to share resources equitably with others, we ask that if you have received an INTERLACE scholarship in the past 12 months, please contact us to submit a request for another scholarship.
We anticipate all students will have access to very basic supplies, such as scissors, paper, pens, pencils, tape measure or ruler, and misc. supplies/fabrics from your own stash or household. Class supplies for samples will be provided by Textile Center. Students will need to provide additional supplies for their personal project for the class and the cost for these will be dependent on the scope of the project. Completed projects will be featured in a culminating exhibition in our Library and Community Galleries at Textile Center.
