Stitch. Digital technology. Nature’s discards. Manufacturing. These are the disparate forces that come together in a perfect complement in Ages and Stages. International award-winning fiber artists Teresa Paschke and Jodi Colella explore the coalescence of tradition and innovation and the expressive possibilities that emerge. Paschke melds digital printing technology with simple needle and thread. Colella creates metaphorical structures that often take on anthropomorphic gestures and emotions. Together, these artists compel us and propel us into a new visual engagement with the art.
